    We had invited Mr. Vasant Paresh, a famous comic artist of Jamnagar, Gujarat on 2/7/2000. This program was conducted for MATA LACHMI ROTARY INSTITUTE FOR SPEECH AND HEARING HADICAPPED. The program was primarily focused on awareness in general public awards speech and hearing handicapped children.

    Nearly 500 people attended and admired the programme and the president of our sponsor club, Rotary Gandhidham was invited as the chief guest. The wel-come speech was addressed by Ms. Krupli Joshi a speaking handicapped student of the institute. Intract Club of Gandhidham had their sizeable contribution in this programme.

    "LEGAL LITERACY CAMP" was organised with the association of the Gandhidham Bar Association on 21/07/2000 at Rotary Bhavan. It was 1002nd camp in the district of kachchh and 44th in taluka of Gandhidham. Hon'ble Civil Judge Shri A.T.Kanani, D.K.Devluk and Mr. H.N.Kaji were present. President of Rotary Gandhidham Rtr. Rajaram Rathi was invited as the chief guest.

    Shri S.M.Khadeka, advocate & president of Gandihdham Bar Association, spoke on motor accident and claims. Shri V.C.Tejwani, Advocate and additional govt.pleader, explained the provisions of arrest and bail. Advocate Smt.U.A.Khuslani described the provisions of the maintenance under section 125 of the criminal procedute code.

    Under the experince guidence of project chairman Rtr. Lalit Kella Rotaract Gandhidham organised 4th "PLANT DISTRIBUTION CAMP" on 30/7/2000 at the center of the city. At the end of the day more than 1000 plants of neem,Gulmohar,vad,kasid,jamfal,sonali,asopalav and many other types were distributed.

    Along with the distribution of the plants stickers with the message of "VRUKCH VAVO BARSAD LAVO", were distributed amongst the general public and affixed on the ongoing vehicles. Innerwheel President Smt. Vinaykanta Dugar, inaugrated the function and appealed the general public to plant more trees. Rtn. Laxmiben Bheda, attended the function and appriciated the efforts and encouraged the members.
